Key Result Areas for the Incumbent

1. Planning & Strategy:

a. Design and Implement HR strategies to ensure all HR operations are in order and efficient.

b. Measure the effectiveness of various employee programs and make improvements to attract and retain top talent.

c. Facilitate Business Performance, Cultural integration, value alignment and structures for better synergy.

2. Organisation / People Performance:

a. Lead HR projects, compensation, increments, promotions and other benefits.

b. Effectively manage and run HRMS and various other technology projects in HR seamlessly.

c. Help in designing budgets by department, oversee payroll and associated things in line with company's target statement.

d. Design and implement company policies Performance Management System (Outcome based) for uniformity & fairness of broad principles of meritocracy to retain & reward talent.

e. Review and update our employment contracts and agreements for applicable employees.

f. Manage People Cost: Manage key HR metrics like cost per hire and retention rates.

g. Timely completion of F&F for exited employees post effective Exit interviews.

h. Introduce meaningful changes gathered from Exit Interviews to improve organisation culture and enhance retention of top talent.

i. Manage internal communication projects to enhance employee participation, Competency assessment, for succession planning and evaluation.

j. Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements

k. Ensure timely Staff recoveries to keep it within acceptable limits.

3. Capability Building:

a. Plan and implement employee training and development initiatives for building capability and capacity for current and future needs of organisation.

b. Continuous scanning of environment to identify potential challenges for stakeholders, design and roll-out initiatives to foster a positive acceptance for change; drive change management plans to meet the needs of different stakeholder groups.

c. Handhold Training Head and his/her team to ensure training needs are effectively met.

4. Culture Building: In line with the organisation's Vision & Mission, enhance Diversity in the organisation (thoughts, people) and develop a culture of inclusion with people participation and active contribution to the process of change.

- Excellent in follow-through and delivery. Someone who treats committed timelines religiously and ensures adherence to TAT.

- Preferable to have change management experience

- Candidate is expected to have strong culture fitment with the organisation.

Key Functional competencies required to perform this role

- 15-17+ years of strong domain experience of which, 3-5 years as Head of HR (at least a business unit)

- MBA in HR / PM&IR/ and similar degree.

- Preferably based in/ around Delhi to ensure ease of travel to workplace.

- Experience in Large Corporates and at senior management level

- Substantial number of years' experience in Banking & Financial Services industry will be preferred. Experience in other retail industries is also welcome.

- Manpower strength of organisation being overseen by the candidate in the current / past roles in his/her career should be between 7000-1000 employees or more.

- Capability to handle large teams spread across geographies.

- Candidate must be open to travelling.
