Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of HR to lead our Human Resources department in a manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR generalist roles, with a strong focus on culture building, policy and procedure development, and comprehensive recruitment expertise. The Head of HR will be responsible for overseeing plant HR operations and will play a key role in driving the company's people strategy and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support the company's objectives and foster a positive work culture.

2. Lead and manage all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR administration.

3. Create and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.

4. Build a strong recruitment framework and oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates across all levels and departments.

5. Establish effective on boarding and orientation programs to facilitate the smooth integration of new employees into the organization.

6. Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.

7. Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction, motivation, and retention.

8. Manage HR operations specific to plant locations, addressing unique challenges and requirements related to plant HR management.

Qualifications:

1. A Master's degree in HR or a relevant discipline is preferred.

2. Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in HR generalist roles, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

3. Proven expertise in culture building, policy development, and implementation of comprehensive HR programs.

4. Extensive experience in all aspects of recruitment, with a successful track record in attracting and selecting high-quality talent.

5. Hands-on experience in plant HR operations and a thorough understanding of the unique challenges associated with managing HR in a manufacturing environment.

6. Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
