Our client, a large diversified group, is looking for India HR Head for one of their businesses. Position Title: General Manager/Head-HR, India Reports to: VP/Global Head-HR Purpose of the Role: Partner with business to attract, develop, grow and retain high quality talent to deliver outstanding business performance. Key Accountabilities/responsibilities - Develop and implement India specific HR strategy in line with the business objectives. Ensure human resource plans support the needs of the business and are flexible enough to cope with changes in the organization, as and when they occur. - Work closely with the India leadership team members to bring a consistent employee experience. - Direct the development and establishment of adequate and equitable HR policies throughout the organization, including compensation policies and employee benefit plans which will enable us to attract and retain talent at Manufacturing sites. Constantly review manufacturing locations for talent, learning, OD, engagement, IR and so on. - Work with Group level centers of excellence to design and execute recruitment strategy to ensure attraction &amp; selection of talent in-line with organizational Values and business objectives. - Drive a performance oriented culture which ensures linkage between individual goals and organizational objectives by promoting fairness and transparency in the process and open communication between all parties involved. - Building a learning culture by facilitating focused employee learning &amp; development opportunities to enable employees succeed in current and future roles in India. - Develop &amp; execute a High Potential management program to ensure engagement and retention of talent pool and build a robust talent pipeline for key positions. - Implement a robust engagement, recognition and communication framework in order to ensure a high level of engagement level in the organization. - Input into and promote E-enabled Human Resource Systems to improve employee experience and team productivity. Enhance use of portals, Online Learning University etc - Work with the senior functional leaders and department heads to understand the market trends and initiate multiple interventions within Organization Development, Learning &amp; Development and Talent Management space. - Coach &amp; support line managers on employee relations, driving performance and guide them on complex HR issues to minimize financial and legal risk. - Managing integration of acquired sites from a HR perspective. Key Customers/Stakeholders: External: govt. authorities, external customers/clients, professional networks, Internal: India leaders, all functions in the India business Reporting relationships/structure: Position will report to VP/Global Head -HR. Site HR Heads in India to report into the position. Position to work closely with CMOEs within the business and in the larger Group HR function. Position will work closely with internal clients to exceed expectations. Profile: MBA from a premier institute-preferred, overall 12-15 years of experience with prior experience in handling multiple manufacturing sites in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Professional skills requirement: Relevant HRBP experience, Fully operational level: Employee Relations, Talent acquisition, Talent management.
