General Manager - Green Field Projects - Erection & Commissioning - Chemical Major

G.M - Projects - For a MNC Chemical Major Co ( for Green field Projects )

- Responsible for end-to-end projects which would include time, cost, quality, design considerations and timely execution of the projects. Project conceptualization, plan, implementation, monitoring and control.

- Plant & Machinery design, vendor identification, evaluation and negotiations

- Vendor shortlisting for services / capital items

- Provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on project management of manufacturing process

- Ensure the optimal application of technology and engineering resources to meet project implementation as per organizational requirements document

- Liaison with Government authorities / local bodies for all licenses and statutory / regulatory requirements

- Responsible for adherence to various compliance norms for various projects

- Interfacing with Consultants to ensure timely milestones achievements within cost / budget

- Monitor and provide day to day Project implementation and management.

- Responsible for site activity, coordination with vendors / technical collaborators, contractors, team of the engineers from inception to Project Execution

- Development & management of capital projects & process development roadmap

- Handling customer queries & complaints effectively

- Guides, by providing expertise and supervision, senior project managers either working on their own projects or as part of a larger development.

- Mitigates the hurdles to ensure timely completion & avoid cost overrun

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENT :

- BE / BTECH - CHEMICAL / MECHANICAL WITH MBA PREFERRED

- Should have handled large projects in his tenure - greenfield & brownfield

- Able to manage end to end projects

- Should be a process owner and strong in pricing

- Able to manage multi vendors
