- Responsible for the P&L of entire TN region

- Oversee the operations of the Freight forwarding business team overall as the Station head and mentor the team members by assigning them timely tasks & evaluating them on a regular basis

- Responsible for the GP figures agreed with the management for Station on a monthly/ quarterly and yearly basis and sending timely reports

- Monitor the activities of the custom broking team and ensure that all compliances are met while handling businesses of domestic & international customers

- Support sales & business development team on new business generation by supporting them on preparation of quotes, submitting responses to RFQ's, customer follow of key customers identified/ assigned.

- To take active participation in creating SOP for business once secured to enable seamless experience for the customers.

- Helping management & sales team to develop new trade lanes/ business models by coordinating with Overseas offices , local sales team and regional Management Key is to develop good relations with key & active overseas partners in Far East & Europe.

- Follow up on Sales leads generated from the overseas network

- Initiate efforts to regain lost business by the station

- Responsible for mentoring the sales & operations team, evaluating them and motivate them to achieve their goals & KRA

Desired qualification:

- Graduate/ post graduate with minimum of 15 years' experience in handling Freight forwarding business with specialisation in Business development, Key account management & Operations .

- Candidates with adequate Experience working with reputed Indian and MNC freight forwarding companies will be preferred .

- Should be commercially driven and need to have good business acumen, deep knowledge of the market, customer focussed and should be able to manage a team of senior Business development professionals other than being able to generate own sales to justify the sales repertoire.

- The candidate should cover atleast his cost with own sales contribution.

Age to be between 35 to 45.
