Job Purpose:
The portfolio lead focuses on delivering operational excellence in governing and implementing processes pertaining to allocating accounts, financial statements, control and taxation for the respective assets. The role holder is expected to ensure regulatory compliance with the norms set by banks, management and statutory authorities; manage tax matters and undertake financial management for the respective asset.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Adherence to statutory compliances like Income Tax, Indirect Taxes, compliance management tool.
- Ensure that Company bears no cost escalations due to fines / penalties for delays in tax filing / inaccurate tax filing pertaining to the asset.
- Update all compliance related information regarding lender reporting / debt covenant testing, credit rating reviews etc., and exception reporting.
- Compliance to lender reporting / debt covenant testing, credit rating reviews etc., exception reporting.
- Filing Tax returns, Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, CAM audit, Financial Budgeting, closure of Internal audit issues etc.
- Adherence to defined accounting SOPs, financial reporting, monthly accounting.
- Timely closure of books of accounts - compilation and finalization of financial statements.
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations, providing financial projections.
- Manage performance of the team members given the individual and team targets.
- Adherence to surplus funds investment/management.
- Ensuring payments are done in timely manner.
- Reduction in receivables/ collections outstanding for the asset (Over 30 days).
- Ensure compliance to Billing and Collections Protocol with reminders/escalations/follow up letters.
- Create learning opportunities for the team members to build capabilities
