Incumbents, preferably from Fertiliser, Petroleum, Refinery or large Chemical process industry would be given preference.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensure timely preparation of accounts & periodic updates of financial performance of the Company and identifying areas of revenue & cost optimization opportunities
- Site based accounting. Preparation & finalization of Annual & quarterly accounts
- Responsible in implementation of best practices, MIS tools, risk management, statutory & SOX compliance, auditing, contract negotiation, planning.
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP
- To comply with all the accounting standard disclosures requirements for the company
- Indirect Taxation
- Handling project contracts and state sales tax
- Handling Insurance claims
- Dealing with ministries and government authorities
- Responsible for complying with the IFRS requirements of the company in the near future
- Dealing with the local banks
- Preparation of MIS/reports Critical Analysis of MIS Reports & strategic planning,
- Critical Analysis of MIS Reports & strategic planning
- Annual & periodic Financial Closings & Audit, Statutory Compliances,
- Monitoring costs & value drivers with a focus on costs reduction & revenue enhancement, Financial Planning & Management
- Implementation & Strengthening of Internal Control systems,
Monitoring of Revenue Budget & CAPEX,
- Ensuring risk coverage of company's Property & Profit
- Analysis of government policies on fertilizers & their impact on business.
