General Manager - Finance & Accounts - Retail - CA

QUALIFICATION - CA (batch 2007 upwards)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Heading finance functions involving determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial controls, directing key strategic initiatives and decisions

- Finalization of standalone and consolidated books of accounts as per IND AS. Managing monthly and quarterly closing, and reporting process.

- Working on Tax Planning and handling all taxation matters (Direct & Indirect) ensuring timely filing of all statutory returns and getting the assessments done

- Prepare and finalize statutory audits with auditors and ensuring all compliances under the regulatory acts and other

- Overall ECOM process and receivable management.

- MIS, Budgeting, forecasting models & risk management

- Financial planning & analysis and costing that lead to improvements in cost savings, profitability

- Formulating budgets and conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions.

- Conducting financial analysis, preparing MIS reports and implementing systems for operational effectiveness;

- Exercising internal control for financial analysis and management & portfolio reporting , MIS Reporting & Documentation/ Fund & Cash Flow Management

- Will drive various automation initiatives identified by these departments.

Skills :

- Experience of dealing with Big 4 auditors (both statutory and internal auditors).

- Ability to setting up strong financial processes via system & automated controls. Should also be able to work on improving existing systems / controls.

- Solid analytical and decision-making skills.

- Management of treasury & working capital especially deployment of surplus funds.

- Handling banking relationships and finding improvement opportunities.

- Help CFO in evaluation & analysis of various inorganic proposal received.

- Leadership abilities. Should have lead team size of > 25 people.
