General Manager - Finance & Accounts - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the finance & accounts team

- Responsible for managing various functions such as monthly closing, Balance Sheet, P&L Analysis along with monitoring plant & sales KPI, variance analysis.

- Preparation of Monthly profitability Dashboards, analysis of gaps and financial statements

- Responsible for various financial & business review presentation to top management.

- Responsible for budgeting and forecasting

- Coordinate and drive the annual budget process with detailed workings, discussion for key performance indicators with respective department head & finalize the budget in discussion with MD

- Responsible for identifying, driving and formulating long & short-term Business Financial Strategy to enable business growth. Provide sound financial and economic advice to management team

- Ensuring compliance of financial policies and internal control systems. Process documentation, implementation and testing of Internal Controls

- Collaborate, drive and align with all Functions to ensure actions, targets are fully reflected in Plans and Forecasts

- Allocation of resources & Cash Flow Management

- Finalization of Financial Statements as per IGAAP

- Conduct Financial analysis of key metrics, KPIs, collections, payables, Cost Optimizations

- Managing daily operations and Completion of Statutory Internal and External Audits as per timeline and ensure compliance with audit recommendations

- Monitoring and Filing of Accounts and Statutory Filings like TDS, GST, Income Tax Returns, etc. MIS reporting, Taxation, Tax planning

- Provide pricing related decision support, discount & marketing related expenses monitoring, etc.

- Credit control of customer accounts & customer account management.

Skills & Competencies:

- High Proficiency in ERP and MS Office/Excel is must

- Strong on MIS reports, inventory, consumption & manufacturing costs / controls.

- Experience in ROC filings, Board meetings, dealing with banks for term loans & fund based and non-based limits and annual rating by external agencies.
