General Manager - Exports - Apparel Industry

Job Purpose - To look after the export market and also nominations.

Key Words - We are looking for people from Labels, Zippers etc which is also called as trims.

Education - A Masters Degree in Textile Plus a Management Degree or a Diploma in Exports Management

Job Description :

- Responsible for managing the sale of Name & Plain tape elastic to customers in other countries.

- Develop knowledge of the cultural, business and political background of the together with an understanding of consumer tastes through market research.

- Look for new opportunities to sell to different international markets.

- Build up and maintain good relationships with customers, agents and distributors.

- Consult with management and check whether a product can be modified to meet the customer's requirements or whether special discounts can be offered.

- Consider, and comply with, legal and ethical restrictions on international trading

- Provide quotations for orders and negotiate for a final order.

- Monitor the processing of orders and check that the distribution is running smoothly and that everything is on schedule.

- Manage complaints or queries after delivery.

- Producing marketing plans, budgets and sales reports for discussion to company management.

- Organise sales briefings and conferences, and visit international trade fairs.
