General Manager - Exports

- The candidate would be a key member of senior management and is accountable for supervising the entire Export Business from Cochin & Calicut Port and will be reporting to the Directors.

- The ideal candidate will be an experienced and efficient leader, able to maintain control of diverse Products segments and have expertise in Procurement of Agri Commodities (In South Zone) starting from fruits, vegetables, cereals, spices, etc. along having prior working experience in any Export company.

- Company is exporting Fruits, Vegetables, Rice, Spices, Oil & other Cereals to Gulf countries & Europe.

Responsibilities :

- Implement business strategies, plans and procedures

- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives in the respective zone

- Sourcing and shipping of quality products as per international market standard

- Supervision of Packaging, Stuffing, Transportation & Shipment of the products

- Appointing vendors, Tie-up with farmers as per policy of the Company

Requirements :

- Proven experience in this Domain

- Target driven and aggressive outlook towards business

- Understanding of business functions such as Sourcing, Packing, Rate & Shipping, etc.

- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development

- Experience in driving a Export Company is a must

- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities

- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills

- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
