General Manager - EBO ( Exclusive Brand Outlets )


This role is one of the Senior Management position in the organization with complete responsibility to Plan, Devise and Implement a effective operational strategy to create a separate business vertical within the organization.

The Main objective of this role would be:

- Responsible for sales and profitability of the EBO Division.

- Primarily research and identify business opportunities in establishing EBO operations across Pan India and closely analyze competitors activity and devise effective plan to be operational within given time frame.

- Divide Pan India suitable to both LFS / Small medium store of EBO depending on the footfall and decide number of outlets for creation by both COCO or Franchisee model.

- Identify suitable and strategic locations for excellent footfall and negotiate best real estate proposals for long term contracts with a perfect bottom line profitability.

- Appoint similarly Franchisee partners with a clear vision on investment and offtake to benefit both the Franchisee and the organization for higher growth.

- Recruit, Train and monitor both shop level talents and support team for quality deliverable.

- Focus on improving space efficiency by increasing PSFPD.

- Monitoring of retail KPI's on periodic basis and planning with Retail head to improvise.

- Device format specific strategy to impact merchandise performance.

- Drive service levels and consumer service levels through training inputs.

- Team Motivation strategy derivation & Implementation.

- Store roll out with end to end coordination with all concerned departments.

- Device store specific productivity driving programs & interventions - in the areas of merchandise mix correction, display, selling capability, consumer handling, SOP's.

- Drive & deliver sales performance of stores via effective merchandise decisions and actions.

- Track merchandise performance & execute Inter-Store Stock Transfers to ensure Stock Consolidation

- Team Motivation strategy derivation & Implementation.

- Plan and execute local level market initiatives to increase and retain customer base

- Effectively monitor and manage costs at store and regional level, ensuring profitability

- Achievement of monthly budgeted targets for all stores. (Both Top line as well as Bottom line)

- Spearhead Profitability drive for making each EBO profitable.

- Responsible for Buying & Merchandising (B&M) for all stores.

- Effective Team Mgnt to deliver on aggressive expansion and successful running of existing business
