1. Job Location: BHARUCH, GUJARAT 2. MUST Education - B.Sc/M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech (Chemical/Chemistry) + Diploma in Safety. 3. MUST Industry - Speciality Chemical, Chemical, API, Pharma, Agro Chemicals 4. Ensure proper implementation of EHS policies and standards at the site 5. Regularize discrepancies (if any) in the existing permissions and achieve TRUE legal complaint status 6. Maintain cordial relationships at Gujarat Pollution Control Board local office, National Company Law Tribunal, audit agencies, and vigilance cell and visit the key officials regularly 7. Maintain cordial relations with NGO- s/ Industries/ Industries Associations/ Mutual Aid Group/ DPMC, etc. to complement functions of people engaged in liaison function. 8. Monitor and maintain EHS operations at the site 9. Act as the focal point for the organization for Customer's EHS interactions 10. Monitor and implement ISO 14001/ OHSAS 18001/ RC accreditations compliance 11. Ensure submission of audit reports/ environment statements etc. 12. Guide the team in the matters of process safety & risk analysis of complex chemicals 13. Provide support to project function in EHS infrastructure development in all the new projects 14. Integrate EHS function on SAP platform w.r.t waste generation, transfer, quality, and quantities, etc. 15. Take initiatives on waste minimization / recycle/reuse 16. Prepare budgets (revenue and capital) for EHS Site and ensure adherence to budgets 17. Develop KPIs to measure the performance of EHS teams at Site to ensure high productivity 18. Ensure achievement of cost-saving initiatives to achieve targeted savings in the time frame 19. Strive for awards & recognitions 20. Achieve set objectives of SR & FR 21. Ensure emergency preparedness at the site and develop and implement on-site emergency plans 22. Ensure safety & high productivity at the workplace 23. Facilitate initiatives for training need identification and building requisite skills & competencies through systematic training & skill-up-gradation initiatives for the team 24. Actively drive, in conjunction with the Senior Management Team, the performance management process of the team 25. Recognize & reward excellent performers & affirm key contributions of employees toward the achievement of goals & objectives of the team 26. Inspire & motivate employees through demonstrated commitment to Company's values, vision & mission and active participation in various team engagement activities
