Position: GM - Engineering

Job Profile

- To identify the technologies/tools that would be used for the product.

- To recommend the development methodology and framework for the product.

- To provide the overall design and structure of the application.

- To ensures that the design is adequately documented.

- To emphasize on design patterns/coding standards of the highest quality.

- To enforce compliance with coding guidelines using code reviews etc.

- To provide technical guidance to PDM / TL.

- To guide team is doing POCs and early risk assessments.

Experience

- 8 yrs to 13 yrs of experience on Java and J2EE, Product development experience preferable and 5+ yrs of architecture experience.

Candidate Requirement

- Proven Track record in designing and building SaaS based web applications for extremely high traffic and transaction volumes.

- Comprehensive experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, HTML, XML, AJAX, REST and SOAP Web Services, SQL and Oracle.

- Desirable knowledge of LINUX/UNIX web infrastructure, databases and security concepts.

- Ability to question, challenge and effectively influence solutions proposed by other technical teams.

- Ability to make the development and architecture teams operate efficiently through the use of best practices, processes and tools.

- Strong problem solving skills, ability to triage technical issues and drive resolution with cross functional teams.

- Strong decision-making.

- Set up an effective communication between dev teams and cross functional teams.
