General Manager - E commerce
Keeping in view the existing group operations, supply chain management, existing sales infrastructure, alliances across eCommerce platforms etc. conceptualize, lead, develop and operational a state of the art eCommerce platform for online sales of products. Introducing and expanding market share in the E Commerce business.
Key Job Functions :
- Own and manage the P&L responsibilities of India's E-Commerce Business.
- Define overall strategy and ensure that it is in line with the company's vision.
- Devise and execute the revenue generation plan.
- Build strong relationship with alliance partners to improve traction and branding.
- Lead and develop the eCommerce team
- Shape the overall framework of the IT system for the eCommerce platform
- Innovative ways of building brand awareness and focus on growing business.
- Responsible for the pre-launch and post launch strategy for the eCommerce business.
Key Skills/Abilities :
- Entrepreneurial nature and mindset with the ability to set up E Commerce business from scratch.
- Exceptional leadership qualities team and people skills.
- Familiar with the complete e-commerce value chain to manage the business end-to-end.
Qualification :
- Graduate with a MBA in Marketing
Preferred Experience :
- Minimum of 10 -15 years of experience out of which at least 5 years should be in leading high caliber teams especially in eCommerce.
