Data Warehousing Lead -General Manager

Reporting to Platform Head

- The role is responsible for end to end Data Warehousing including strategy, planning, delivery, operations and scaling to build India's largest consumer app/web product and Intelligence Marketing platform including ecommerce, targeted advertising and payments

Key Responsibilities :

- Senior solution architect and delivery lead for handling large data warehousing including complex data management, data migration and data analytics

- Design, development, delivery and operations of big data platforms to support the ingestion, transformation, storage and analysis of unstructured and structured data from multiple sources

- Setup end to end Data Management process for data warehouse operations and support activities

- Bring world class best practices in data security, encryption and data sharing

Educational Qualifications :

- Degree in a computing, engineering or scientific discipline

Years of Experience (minimum & maximum) : 7-12 years

- e-Commerce Amazon, PayTM Flipkart, Snapdeal

- Tech TCS, Accenture Tech., Oracle, IBM Wipro, Infosys

Knowledge & Skills :

- Experience in leading Data Management, Data Warehouse function

- Experience in managing large consumer data and commerce, transactions, behavioural data sets

- Broad experience with multiple technologies in the area of ETL, business intelligence, reporting and descriptive analytics

- Sound technical knowledge - data base structures/querying, storage and analysis

- Experience with agile solution development methods is preferred

- Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles and practice.

- Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles

- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB

- In depth understanding of data integration best practices, leading industry applications and features such as master data management, entity resolution, data quality assessment, metadata management, etc.

- Knowledge of tools to query and manipulate data in varying file formats (IDQ, SQL, Collibra etc.)

- Should have good knowledge of Big data technology (Apache Hadoop/Hive/Scala/Map reduce)

- Strong Knowledge of any one large Database (Oracle/Teradata/Greenplum)
