General Manager - Creative Head

Reporting of the role :

This role reports to : Chief Product Officer - Mediacom

1. You will have global peer support with best of Mediacom global exposure, interactions and guidance for creative systems work across countries.

2. You will work closely with brand's creative partners, media teams and 3 rd party media houses to build a compelling narrative and drive project approval & closure.

3. You will lead a 7-8 member team of diverse skill sets who will support you in brining the Creative system vision alive.

In this role, your goals will be :

In three months :

- Be fully immersed in GroupM's & Mediacom's Creative System capabilities including partner eco-system, award winning case studies, content partnership models, content licensing, IP creation, etc.

- Build a content business plan - identifying clients, low hanging opportunities, understand content business targets.

- Develop rapport with internal media teams, start meeting clients & content partners, participating in brainstorms, begin sending concept proposals.

In six months :

- Becoming the go-to the person for the internal media teams and few key clients on creative system initiatives

- Land 3-4 large creative system projects (IP/ Programs/ Platforms) including participating in social creative pitches.

In 12 months :

- Develop award-winning worthy work based on cultural insights, solving for brand challenges

- Integrating content solutions into other offerings including social, activations, new age technologies

- Set up Content Days for key clients, profile Mediacom through participating in content forums, drive awards agenda on content.

- Deliver on Creative systems business targets.

What your day job looks like at MediaCom :

- Interact with internal media teams, GroupM teams and partners to unearth creative system opportunities in the pipeline or those that can be originally developed

- Work with Creative Systems team to flesh out ideas, brainstorm, develop proposal for client

- Set up meetings with key clients across Mumbai/Del/Bangalore to pitch ideas and drive approvals. Work with internal media teams to ensure budgets, deliverables, etc. are aligned

- Monitor execution of the project at high level

Minimum qualifications :

- 12+ years' experience in driving content IPs/large content partnerships, monetizing content in a client facing role

- Strong relationship with 3 rd party media houses, networks, freelance creative community, thinkers to develop an eco-system of partners

- Good understanding of consumers, cultural trends, digital eco-system - working knowledge of how to distribute content on media.

- Strong ownership on projects to deliver within deadlines
