- The incumbent should be abreast with market trends, emerging technologies, research centers/new business which are focusing on innovating technologies/products in manufacturing or engineering domains.

- The incumbent should be able to identify opportunities and evaluate on interest, decide on the nature of engagement, assess the feasibility and incubate them within the business.

- The candidate with product development experience or at least has seen the process/product life cycle would be a great fit.
