General Manager / COO Kenya
- It is a critical role with significant decision making authority reporting into the CEO of company who is remotely located.
Purpose
- To drive and sustainable & profitable growth in line with company's overall mission and in compliance with the values of the company
Job brief
- To maintain control of diverse business operations which require experience and efficiency in leadership; excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics .
Responsibilities
- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (Production, Sales, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, IT, Marketing, etc.)
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Share performance dashboards with the CEO on a periodic basis with in-depth insights
- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
- Manage relationships with partners/vendors

- Cash Conversion Cycle
Requirements
- Understanding of all business functions with emphasis on Operations, Sales & Supply chain.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Experience in feed business is important
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- MSc/MBA from a reputable University
