Reporting to: Vice President, Marketing Primary Objective- - Responsible for planning, scanning (right execution partner) & execution (time bound) for the Insights projects as per Business needs for Fact based decision making - Work closely with the brand marketing, product marketing and sales team to develop action plans basis the learnings from Insight projects Key Responsibilities - Understand & Track of the company Brand health & equity, trend & vis- vis competition - Translate marketing/brand issues to research tasks/briefs and finalize effective research design/ tools to deliver required information for decision making - Share meaningful inferences basis primary research findings/other repository and follow up on actions taken basis those - Manage the Retail Track subscriptions and share actionable Insights for improving of the company MS across categories of interest - Leverage the insights capability to aid NPD idea generation and screening to support the innovation led growth ambitions across Brands - Proactively evaluate and recommend relevant research tools to meet Business objectives basis relevance and utility (Digital platforms, Pilot test tools, Pricing tools) - Foster healthy relationship with research agencies esp. domain experts with long term perspective - Strengthen the Marketing team stature by his/her positive contribution and help in building structured knowledge repository for Consumer Insights Skills - Competency to understand the Business priorities/needs - Stakeholder understanding/expectations during the conversation or through engagement (stakeholder management) - Communication and Persuasion skills (influence without authority) - Strong Analytical and Project management skills - Exposure to managing MR agencies (esp. Nielsen, IPSOS, Kantar, Hansa) Competencies - Strategic thinking - Analytical ability - Collaborative approach with agencies and internal stakeholders esp. matrix setup Project management (efficiency without compromising the output quality) Significant KPIs - Timely completion of Insights Projects - Quality of inferences/learnings from Insight projects - Evidence of Business impact through action planning by stakeholders Close working relationship with - Market Research agency (traditional & digital) - Brand, Sales and Product Marketing team - Product marketing team
