Wea re looking for a someone with atleast 10 years experience in Foods Industry. Responsibilties: - Prepare purchase and import strategies in consultation with ED. - Suggest/ frame policies and procedures for the procurement of goods and services and implement the same - Suggesting criteria for vendor performance evaluation and transparently evaluate the same. - Plan purchases based on demand forecast, production planning and inventory levels. - Identify potential suppliers,engage with existing suppliers on an ongoing basis and build relationships with them. - Negotiation with vendors - Forecast price trends and prioritize purchase activities accordingly. - Issue of contracts compliant with central policies and monitoring the contract execution. - Ensuring timely execution and renewal of contracts with the vendors. - Negotiating and dealing with the vendors/services providers at the time of closure/expiry of contracts.
