GM - Commercial

Role Summary : The role will be responsible for handling the following at a national level :

Commercial :

- Managing commercial activities for the business across all distribution channels i.e. General Trade, Modern Trade,CSD, Retail Trade, B2B and E-Commerce

- Responsible for managing Debtors Overdue management, Creditors and Claims

- Pricing, Distribution, Discount and other Schemes Management across all channels

- Continuous monitoring of internal controls related to activities in branch Invoicing, inventory and Schemes/claims

Warehousing :

- Warehouse Management

- Delivery of material as per sales invoice as per SOP

- Stock taking and reconciliation

- Logistics management in conjuction with Supply Chain

Management Reporting :

- Ensuring timely and accurate MIS and other management reporting

Process Implementation :

- Designing policies & SOP's for smooth operations

- Lead any technology process improvements for the commercial function

Ideal Candidate :

- CA / ICWA

- Experience range of 15 to 20 years in commercial with a strong fmcg organization

- Ideal candidate will have at least 4 to 5 yrs. of experience heading commercial for a multi product / multi category / multi brand organization in a multi-channel at a national level

- Working knowledge on SAP

- Desirable to have experience in TOC environment

- Incumbent should have exposure to commercial turnover of around Rs. 1000 cr

- Sound knowledge of commercial, sales and sales administration processes in a cutting edge technology environment

- Strong domain experience in consumer / retail / brand / product in all channels of General Trade, Retail, Modern Trade, CSD, Institutions, etc.

- Strong people management skills

- Ability to manage and lead a loyal team across multiple geographies

- Ability to be self-driven, offer solutions and lead by example

- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple internal stake holders

Reporting Structure : The position will report to the CFO India

Team :

The incumbent will lead a team of almost 135 reportees (direct and indirect) pan India

- 4 Regional Commercial Manager

- 4 at the Corporate Office
