Looking for a General manager for a leading Airline company. The role requires experience in facilities management and housekeeping.

Job Summary :

To be the liaison between internal business units and suppliers to ensure company achieves the maximum value from its service. The role oversees and approves contracts for goods and services sourced by the Vendors. The General Manager ensures business units enforce service level agreements and supplier performance measurements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, manage, mentor and grow team.

- To monitor and audit Standard Operations Procedures and related documents in order to ensure that all applicable procedures are implemented properly (through audit, inspections, review) and report to the Vice President - Guest Service Delivery

- Oversee the operations of Interior Appearance, Cleaning Schedules, Upholstery, Carpet & Curtain Change Schedules, Dis infestations Schedule in the enforcement of service level agreements

- Organize and manage required external and internal audits / inspections for all the facilities, vehicles & equipment that are serviceable from time to time.

- Prepare annual budget and forecasts aligned to strategic plans.

- Work closely and coordinate with Sr. Vice President - Guest Experience for all corrective /preventive actions to ensure compliance to any applicable standards.

- Prepare objective reports for key processes by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Ensure proper reporting (weekly, monthly, yearly etc.) to highlight the processes performance, weaknesses and related recommendations.

Knowledge & Key skill sets :

- Experience in formulating policy, developing and implementing new procedures.

- Strategic planning and project management skills.

- Excellent leadership skills with an ability to motivate large teams.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.

- Operate within a pressured environment with reduced lead times and often working out of office hours. Regular travel across the network is also required to support various corporate initiatives.
