We are hiring General Manager Operations for Andhra Pradesh for one of the top Sports Management Companies in India

Job location: Guntur, AP

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Responsible for program delivery across Andra Pradesh

- Direct and coordinate activities of department concerned with the program delivery, pricing, sales, and/or distribution of program.

- Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.

- Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.

- Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with board members, organization officials, and staff members as necessary.


- Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.

- Monitor businesses and agencies to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.

- Oversee activities directly related to making providing services.

- Direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.

- Develop and implement product marketing strategies including advertising campaigns and sales promotions.

- Plan and direct activities such as sales promotions, coordinating with other department heads as requiredTo achieve top line and bottom line targets.

- Renewal of contract on dates.

- Ensuring rate revision.

- Understanding of market potential.

- New Deployment as per contract.

- Client satisfaction.

- Achieving Operational Efficiency .

- Maintain data of business gain/loss due to operational success/failure.

- Attrition and Recruitment forecast for Direct and indirect staff as per mandate.

- Ensuring 100% compliance.

Required Experience and Qualifications

- The ideal candidates come from Services Industries with extensive experience in working with Govt entities, have very strong base in Operations, people management, P&L, reporting.

- Experience managing 150-100 people indirectly

Experience: 10-20 yrs

Education: MBA from Tier 1 Institutions preferred

- Ability to speak Telugu an added advantage
