Roles and Responsibilities -
- Win orders and generate new business from DPSUs (HAL, BEL, etc); DRDO; Armed Forces (IAF, IA, IN); MoD; Domestic private and Overseas defence OEMs.
- Build relationships with OEMs who manufacture systems for defence with a view to make them partners and become strategic Tier 1 suppliers to them.
- Drive all techno commercial activities Bidding and tendering, Negotiations.
- Interface with prospective customers sourcing & design teams to uncover opportunities
- Interact with internal design team to support product development effort.
- Collect competition and miscellaneous industry, product and customer information through field interactions.

Skills/Experience and Knowledge -
- Strong aptitude for technical discussions, understanding technical requirements and technical selling.
- Strong experience in institutional sales particularly to govt customers and global OEMs.
- Expertise in business development, marketing, new market capturing initiatives, new product launch and sales in Indian defence industry.
- Liaising with Govt. officials in MoD, DRDO, DPSUs and Armed forces.
- Intimate knowledge of the tendering and procurement process.
