One of World's largest brewing company is looking for a General manager - Brand Marketing who will be responsible of managing multiple brands in the portfolio.
Location of Work: Bangalore
We would be specifically looking at the below capabilities:
Champion & Advocacy of the brand - Manages the expectations of brand within India.
Imagineer of the brand:
- Develops the 3-year brand plans, with inputs from the Senior Brand Managers
- Leads the creation and execution of fully integrated and aligned brand positioning, big ideas and differentiated brand communications and through-the-line marketing programs
- Determines the levers of the marketing mix that that will be used to create, reinforce and trigger the brand's meaning in consumer's mind.
- Ensures that the brands are constantly innovating and maintaining their salience, topicalness and relevance through imaginative and strategically focused programming and ideas
- Leads development of supportive creative platforms.
- Appoints agencies, manages their contractual agreements and sets agency incentive targets
- Ensures full understanding of the competitor brands context is factored into our plans
- Ensures that the annual plans developed by the Senior Brand Managers: Strategy, Planning, and Innovation are in full alignment with the 3 year plans
Brand Communications:
- Ensures brand communications accurately reflect the voice of brand
- Approves critical creative material
Through the line brand execution:
- Ensures regional and state level plans accurately reflect the voice of the brands, and brand plans accurately reflect the voice of the field.
- Ensures that the team interfaces productively with Trade Marketing and the Regions in order to ensure effective integration and creation of powerful local plans for the brands.
Profitable Brands:
- Understands and manages the levers that impact the commercial outcomes of the individual brand P&L.
- Determines and delivers performance targets in the annual and 3 year business plans for the brands.
- Monitors performance of the brands and course corrects as appropriate.
- Manages brand revenues, renovation and margin management
- Understands and supports the Brands pricing strategies and plans.
- Identifies, unlocks and captures the value in segmented profit pools through effective programming and guidance.
- Optimizes marketing spend effectiveness according to global / local standards.
Capability:
- Active member of the Marketing leadership team directing overall departmental development
- Prioritizes and assigns team resources according to capability and capacity.
- Leads a team of people to build strategic and operating business plans for the brand to maximize its potential and ensure the execution of the plan through the line.
- Drives continuous improvement through coaching and shared learning throughout the team.
- Responsible for the development and leadership of direct reports, as well as themselves personally.
- Ensures all our initiatives and creative are in line with the ethical code of organization and all the latest POCC guidelines resulting in timely approved artwork / activities by the SMCC forum
