General Manager - Banking & Treasury - Manufacturing Firm

Job Responsibilities:

Fundraising: Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure capital for business operations and growth initiatives. Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors to optimize funding opportunities.

Banking Operations: Oversee daily banking operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and bank account management. Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.

Financial Transactions: Manage and monitor daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and reconciliation processes. Implement efficient cash management practices to optimize liquidity.

Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Negotiate banking terms and conditions to maximize benefits for the company.

Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with business objectives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.

Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Monitor market trends and economic indicators to assess potential impacts on financial performance.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and corporate governance standards. Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain integrity in financial operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CA preferred.

- Proven experience as a Treasury Manager, Finance Manager, or similar role in the manufacturing industry.

- Strong understanding of banking operations, financial analysis, and treasury management practices.

- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills with banking institutions and financial partners.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.

- Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.

- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite.
