Scope & Function

- 15 + Years preferably in EPC industry with exposure to financial planning, accounts management, taxation, treasury management etc.

- Oversee preparation of P&L and other financial statements for the two cycles of reporting, i.e. India Statutory (Indian GAAP) and Global (IFRS).

- Treasury Management- Forecast cash flow positions, available funds for Investment, Banking Limit & maintain banking relationships, assist in determining the company's proper capital Structure, arrange for equity and debt financing. Manage all compliance related to Banking, FEMA & other applicable laws.

- Budgetary Control - Manage the preparation of the company's budget, Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances, assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.

- Financial Planning & Control - Engage in ongoing cost reduction analysis in all areas of the company, engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement, review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput, manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis.

- Debtors Management - Guides management about how to control debtors and how to make balance between liberal and strict credit, make credit policy at optimum level where profitability and liquidity will be equal and ensure timely collection of outstanding.

- Direct and Indirect Taxation- Good exposure in Direct & Indirect Taxation and can coordinate with Tax team for effective Tax Management

- MIS -Overseeing preparation of MIS reports & reconciliation statements to assist top management,

- Preparation of Balance Sheets, profit & Loss account on a monthly basis for reporting to management.

- Finalization of Accounts- Managing and maintaining the overall accounting books in compliance with accounting Procedures and policies and handling accounts department of the Company,

- Finalization of Accounts of the Company as per IFRS, IGAAP & IND-AS. Dealing with internal auditors for internal audit and statutory auditors for finalization of balance sheet

- Payables and Receivables Management - Supervise accuracy of billing shared with stakeholders;

- Monitor the team tracking the status of outstanding payments; Oversee preparation of consolidating AP/ AR on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis; Validate correctness and processing of vendor invoices against requisite Purchase Orders; Coordinate release of retention amount to vendors post expiration of pre-defined period;

- M&A - Merger and acquisition finance experience.
