Key responsibilities include: 1. Accounts - Managing day to day accounting and AP, AR, Tax, FA - Ensuring accuracy of general ledger accounts - Preparation of accounts, book closures etc - Support in the preparation of financial statements and audits (Quarterly LRs, Annual Audits) 2. Controls and Recons - Payments controls and reconciliations - Expense controls and reconciliations - Store & Plant level controls and reconciliations - Franchisee controls and reconciliations 3. Taxation - Managing direct and indirect taxes end to end 4. Technology and Team Management - Working with teams and support business/operations - Internal time management and task allocation to the finance team reporting to this role - Working on technology upgrades within finance function to drive productivity Desired competencies to perform the job successfully: - Certified Chartered Accountant - 10-15 years of post qualification experience - Strong knowledge of accounting and experience - Knowledge and experience with IndAS will be an added advantage - Retail/Manufacturing industry experience preferred - Exceptional team management abilities - Excellent knowledge of MS suite - Exposure to ERP accounting software (ex-MS Dynamics/Navision)
