General Manager - Accounts (Listed Company)

Job Title: General Manager - Accounts

Location: Chennai

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

- Finalize standalone and consolidated financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with IND AS and Schedule III disclosure requirements.

- Assess investments and asset impairments, including evaluations of manufacturing units.

Audits and Compliance:

- Coordinate with Statutory Auditors for Limited Reviews, Interim, and Statutory Audits.

- Manage Internal and IFC Audits, overseeing the finalization of audit reports.

Reporting:

- Prepare Board and Annual General Meeting reports.

Subsidiary Management:

- Manage accounts of overseas subsidiaries and consolidate with the Indian entity.

Taxation:

- Liaise with Tax authorities, handling Transfer Price audits and income tax assessments.

Investment Evaluation:

- Evaluate investment opportunities.

- Prepare investor presentations.

Candidate Requirements:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience.

- Experience in Corporate Accounts functions of large listed manufacturing, FMCG, or consumer durable organizations.
