General Manager - Accounts & Finance

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership & Management:

- Provide strategic financial leadership, partnering with business stakeholders to drive profitability and achieve organizational goals.

- Oversee the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with Indian GAAP and statutory requirements.

Compliance & Risk Management:

- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

- Oversee statutory audits and liaise with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

- Stay up-to-date on relevant financial regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.

Financial Analysis & Planning:

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, providing insights and recommendations to support informed business decisions.

- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against targets and identifying areas for improvement.

- Support strategic planning initiatives with sound financial analysis and projections.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead and motivate a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

- Provide coaching and development opportunities to help team members grow their skills and expertise.

Qualifications:

- CA (Chartered Accountant) or CA Final year student.

- Minimum 1-4 years of experience in a senior finance role within the manufacturing sector (preferred).

- Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes (accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, financial reporting).

- Proven track record of leading and managing finance teams effectively.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite and accounting software (Tally, SAP Finance etc. a plus)
