Summary: The General Counsel will be responsible for the legal affairs of the entire organization. This role includes providing legal counsel to the board of directors, Investors and other senior management.

Duties:

- Developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the groups matters. Developing and leading internal audit and corporate compliance programs

- Overseeing delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies and priorities.

- Advising the CEO and other senior corporate officers on a variety of issues.

- Participating in the formulation of general management policy as a member of the executive management team.

- Managing a team of corporate counsel and other members of the legal department.

- The Head of Legal must have exceptionally good communication skills in his highly collaborative and interactive capacity where his clarity in information conveyance will determine how effectively collaborative tasks are executed.

- He must additionally possess good communication skills in drafting high-value legal Contracts & documents.
