Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated VP/AVP/Senior Manager-Sales to build, lead and nurture a highly efficient sales team to achieve conversion rate and Average Order Value targets for the quarter, and in parallel setup systems for a sustainable sales process and even higher numbers in coming quarters This Position will be reporting directly to the Founder

Key Requirements:

1. TEAM LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT:

a. Responsible for the overall team targets

b. Review ongoing tickets and figure out strategic breakthroughs in stuck tickets

c. Establish individual and team goals and regularly review performance to ensure continuous improvement.

e. Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a high performing sales team

2. Sales strategy and execution:

a. Develop and implement an effective sales strategy for selling precious gemstones online

b. Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to adapt sales tactics and pricing strategies

c. Analyze sales data and customer behavior to identify opportunities for increasing conversion rates

d. Pass key customer learnings to product, marketing, and support departments for a better cx experience

3. Sales Systems Development and Implementation

a. Evaluate and optimize the sales process including lead generation, prospecting, qualification, closing and account management.

b. Oversee the selection, implementation, and effective use of sales tools, including CRM, sales automation, and reporting platforms.

c. Develop and implement sales performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

4. Sales Pitch, Tools and Training Development and Implementation:

a. Create and implement sales collateral like brochures, etc.

b. Create sales pitch - email, audio, and video for the sales team to leverage.

c. Create sales training - sales acumen, sales process and systems and product training.

5. Reporting & Analytics

a. Regularly track and analyze key sales performance indicators (KPIs)

b. Provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

c. Use data-driven insights to continuously refine and optimize the sales process.

Educational Qualification:

- 10+ years of experience in sales and sales operations in Inside Sales in a B2C space

- Proven track record of building and leading high performing inside sales teams in a B2C / D2C set-up
