Key Responsibilities Areas - Responsible for heading and managing the technology team for marketplace platform development and QA/QC - Responsible for translation of requirements into specifications and ensuring development quality and delivery on time and within budget - Drive the agile development process as needed and support in adoption and implementation within teams - Institute processes to ensure successful operations for development and drive the development of supporting tools - Responsible for real-time issue resolution of issues on production systems related to marketplace functionality - Acts as advisor to the technology teams and the final point of issue resolution on issues related to marketplace functionality - Maintain product and market knowledge. Analyze and keep abreast of market trends. - Function as the technical contact point, addressing complaints/problems regarding the platform and its functionality - Define metrics and KPIs to monitor performance, set goals and measure success of the reporting teams - Any other responsibility as assigned by the competent authority from time to time Key Shared Accountabilities - Support Product Head in the design and development of product roadmap - Work closely with the MSP Project Director in directing overall MSP progress and direction - Responsible for personnel management and building a strong innovative organizational culture Qualifications and Skill Sets Mandatory - Minimum 13 years experience in software engineering/product development of which minimum 7 years leadership experience managing application development teams in the e-commerce/e-marketplace space preferable in the B2B environment - Bachelor degree in computer science/IT/electronics from premier institute (top 40 as per MHRD nirfindia engineering 2018 Ranking) and full time post graduate degree in management/technology from premier institute Preferred - Experience in program management in government sector - Strong people and relationship management and leadership skills - Capability to work in a fast paced high growth environment Indicative KPIs - Product development cost - Number of severity 1 external issues logged - Number of revisions for new feature/functionality - Number of customer care calls (related to technical issues on platform) - Schedule variance - Adherence to SLA for issue resolution Reporting Structure Reports to: - Chief Technology Officer Direct reports: - Technology Project Manager (from MSP) - Chief Technology Architect (from MSP) - MSP Program Manager - Tech Lead - Marketplace Interested applicants are requested to send in their application by 24/05/2018 Note: i.
