GEM Group - Business Finance Manager

GEM Group (RioZim Ltd) is looking for a meticulous and analytical Financial Analyst to join its finance team. This role is pivotal in managing and analysing financial data to support our organization's decision-making processes

Desired Candidate Profile:

(a) Well versed with mining industry key dynamics or have worked in mining sector

(b) Analytical skills including Financial planning, forecasting & variance analysis

(c) Strong foundation in financial analysis and data management, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills

(d) Strong proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and MIS management.

(e) Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software and databases

(f) Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

(g) Strong presentation skills; thorough knowledge of PowerPoint and other presentation software.

Roles & responsibilities:

(a) Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and advise on regulatory implications for corporate transactions.

(b) Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to support decision-making processes.

(c) Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and dashboards.

(d) Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data in the MIS.

(e) Manage the organization's MIS to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

(f) Continuously improve MIS processes and systems for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.

(g) Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

(h) Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.

(i) Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.

(j) Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management

CA/CFA/MBA
