Job Profile:

Location : Gurugram (Currently Work from Home)

Geekster is looking for a passionate Marketer to help build the most trusted ed-tech company in the higher education space. This is a high impact role where you will be working directly with the Founding team. Key responsibilities would be testing and developing alternate channels, campaigns and strategies to maximise user acquisition at a sustainable cost and at real scale.

Responsibilities:


1. Ownership to develop and execute the entire marketing strategy with strong hands-on experience on the performance marketing & content marketing.

2. To oversee and conceptualise engaging and interesting social media campaigns in both written and visual forms (info-graphics in coordination with the Creative Team).

3. Develop & execute plans to traffic, new customer acquisition and customer engagement across both digital (SEO, Paid Search, Affiliates, Email/CRM, Online Display, Social) and offline marketing channels.

4. Should have a sound understanding of ways to grow revenue and traffic through Google AdWords, SEO, Blogging, & Online PR.

5. Should have worked on email, SMS, WhatsApp marketing campaigns or has a basic understanding of these marketing tools.

6. Lead and own all aspects of performance marketing with a relentless outlook towards growth.

7. Own the landing page strategy, from information architecture to conversion rates.

8. Engage and stimulate our target community through blogs, forums and press opportunities.

9. Analyze funnel data and understand user behaviour on the platform.

10. Own and drive the communication segmentation strategy, identify various customer personas and customize communication plans accordingly.

11. Mentor and grow a team of digital marketers.

Skills Required:

1. Experience scaling an online business preferably with an ed-tech startup with a strict view on cost of acquisition.

2. Strong experience of working on ad platforms like Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google AdWords.

3. Strong hands on experience on the content marketing.

4. Should have strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email Marketing and affiliate marketing techniques

5. Knowledge of Brand development and promotions is a plus.
