GE - Lead - Product Cost Analyst

- Taking care of finance activities for manufacturing plant (about 60MUSD volume)

- Analyze the margin and identify gaps w.r.t operating plan

- Analyze the P&L and ensure the quality of the entries Monthly/Quarterly closed process

- Break-down the variable cost by cost center and ensure they are within the budgeted level, send pre-alert communication to all stakeholders

- Base cost analysis to be done on monthly basis, identify

a. Identify any other unit cost - push back on a monthly basis

b. Ensure all recharge done on a monthly basis

c. Send cost center wise statement of all stakeholders on monthly basis and give pre-alert for any overspent

- Headcount reconciliation and related payroll cost validation

- Challenge all cost which is not planned and look for opportunities to save over and above plan.

- Statutory audit

- Working capital monitor along with a specific focus on Inventory

- Responsible for Digital Energy unit of Bangalore - Both P&L and Balance sheet

- Estimating product cost, standards, & handbook; proposal support; set and execute product strategy, builds process to determine restructuring needs. May be involved in defining product requirements used to develop cost estimates. In-depth understanding of concepts and principles in the Finance function; may also be responsible for handling day-to-day staff management issues including resource management and allocation of work. Focus on department priorities within operating unit and may be responsible for work and development of others.
