Essential Responsibilities - Lead a team of Commercial Leaders to develop winning strategies to close profitable orders for the highly competitive Renewable Energy business. - Provide Mentoring and training for Commercial Leaders as well as oversight of all the deals within your responsible region of South Asia. - Ensure process compliance and drive rigor in the Onshore Wind segment for GE Renewable Energy - Drive teamwork within your individual team and the extended matrix organization making sure leadership of the transactions is driven in a cooperative and constructive manner. - Be the voice of the Renewable business in structuring the risk, reward, profitability and overall ability to execute contracts within the organization. - Support achievement of Commercial Team metrics related to orders and margins for P&W. - Ability to travel approximately 20-30%. Qualifications/Requirements - Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent. - Minimum six years experience in Marketing, Sales, Customer Service or equivalent associated with gas/steam turbine/power plant, hydro, or wind power products. - Minimum four years- experience in a customer facing position. - Prior experience with customer specification review, proposal development, contract development and negotiations. Including equipment sales and consortium agreements. - High motivation level; self starter with strong leadership and negotiation skills. - Ability to lead and energize a team of individuals with diverse experience base - Ability to perform effectively in a non-hierarchical, team-type environment. - Fluency in both Hindi and the English language. Desired Characteristics: - MBA Degree. - Previous Commercial Operations Experience - Prior work experience in turnkey wind deals in India
