As a GCP architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the cloud computing strategy of various projects. You will develop solutions, implement projects, and set up monitoring systems for companies using AWS, a cloud-based computing service that focuses on creating, testing, deploying, and managing application and service software. Here's how you'll contribute: GCP architect at takes up end to end ownership of projects and provide valuable expertise in the project. You will do this by: - Managing and owning all aspects of technical development and delivery - Understanding requirements and writing technical documents - Ensuring code review and developing best practices - Planning end to end technical scope of the project and customer engagement area including planning sprint and delivery - Estimating effort, identifying risk and providing technical support whenever needed - Demonstrating the ability to multitask and re-prioritizing responsibility based on dynamic requirements - Leading and mentoring small-sized teams Skills required to contribute: Mandatory Experience: - Overall, 10 - 12 years in data warehouse, big data - 4-6 years of experience in GCP Analytics Native Services. - Strong data engineering experience using Java or Python programming languages or Spark on Google Cloud. - Should have worked on handling Big Data. - Strong communication skills. - Experience in Agile methodologies ETL, ELT skills, Data movement skills, Data processing skills. - Certification on Professional Google Cloud Data engineer will be an added advantage. Core skills required: - Google cloud platform - BigQuery, BigTable - Python, Airflow - Good communication and interpersonal skills. Nice to have skills: - Working experience in Snowflake - Working experience in Databricks - Exposure to other cloud native services
