4-5 years of experience in Financial Reporting or financial planning and analysis roles.

Job Summary:

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the overall financial planning and analysis activities of the organization. The FPA Analyst will be responsible for providing valuable insights, preparing financial reports, and assisting in the development of financial plans to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial data for the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.

- Prepare detailed budget variance analyses and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

2. Financial Reporting:

- Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.

- Develop and maintain standardized financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

3. Financial Modeling:

- Build and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis, capital expenditure decisions, and long-term financial planning.

4. Performance Analysis:

- Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide analytical support to assess operational and financial performance.

- Identify trends and areas for improvement, presenting findings to the management team.

5. Strategic Planning:

- Assist in the development and execution of the organization's strategic planning processes.

- Contribute to the analysis of potential business opportunities and risks.

6. Ad-Hoc Analysis:

- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support special projects, initiatives, and decision-making processes.

7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with other departments, including but not limited to Accounting, Sales, and Operations, to gather information and provide financial insights.

8. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Financial Planning and Analysis function.

- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

- 1st or 2nd attempt Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.

- 4-5 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.

- Strong proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.

- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.

Skills:

- Understanding of Ind AS is pre-requisite.

- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Proactive problem-solving skills.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
