KRAs:
- Finalization of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Accounts of a listed company + subsidiaries on time
- Consolidation of Annual Financial Statements - Quarterly & Annual.
- Supervising monthly reporting requirements of subsidiary Companies.
- Coordinating with Statutory Auditors for organizing/active participation in Statutory Audit.
- Supervises, directs, and reviews the work of the accounting staff
- Produces financial reports for Company's monthly, quarterly board meetings.
- Produces quarterly and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.
- Makes and implements recommendations to improve accounting processes and proce-dures.
- Supervise direct tax activities
- Drive digital automation of financial accounting, financial reporting of the organization and ensure effective implementation of the same.
- Drive finance transformation initiative by partnering with corporate and implementation partner
- Work with external (Tax, Legal and others) consultants on an on-going basis to ensure compliance with the latest financial updates from regulatory agencies and shape the Company's budgets and policies accordingly
- Optimize financial governance across the organization and ensure it remains fully compli-ant with the laws and regulations, auditing and accounting principles, and the company's own governing documents and ethical standards.
Qualification:
Chartered Accountant
Desired Experience:
- Experience of having worked in as finance controller of an MNC in India or listed Indian company.
- Strong functional expertise and significant exposure to financial controllership; strong un-derstanding of accounting, audit, and taxation
- Proven ability to build and empower high performance teams
- Strong influencing capability and adaptability to work with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally
- Hands on experience of having led the finance function especially in a high-growth, rapidly changing business will be critical.
- Worked on one financial transformation /digital transformation program during his/her ca-reer
Technical Competencies:
- Excellent knowledge of laws and regulations, auditing and accounting principles and someone who keeps a track of new and upcoming legislations and analyze their impact on business practices
- Excellent knowledge of IND AS format of accounting
- Excellent knowledge of systems and processes and sound understanding of Internal controls environment
- Understanding of direct tax and transfer pricing rules
- Knowledge of ERP - Oracle Financials /Dynamics 365/SAP
