Description Performance Indicators:
Administration and Support:
- To administer and support core Solaris, Linux, MS, Citrix, Nutanix and VMware technologies - ITSM tickets closure
- To proactively manage and maintain server and related infrastructure - Uptime
- To be responsible for after hour support for Infrastructure related emergencies and week end / holiday maintenance - Infra Uptime and maintenance schedule
- To be responsible for the design, installation and configuration of internal and customer facing servers, storage VM etc. - Configuration and go-live documents
Projects:
- To be responsible in providing required assistance for hardware and related software evaluation, vendor evaluation and recommendation - Techno-commercial comparison
- To keep AVP-IT and Key customer stakeholders informed as to the status of each project to ensure the top management is in line with the project development and progress - Project Status Reports
- To be responsible in developing and implementing projects, calculating the risk elements and mitigation plans - Project plan and deliveries
Documentation and Reporting:
- To be responsible for defining and documenting best practices and support procedures - Best practice documents
- To maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation - Asset register
- To mentor / cross train team members on existing and new technologies - Training reports or meeting invites
- To be responsible for managing the Remote Infrastructure Management services and provide regular updates - Update reports
Compliance:
- To be responsible for successful completion of DR drills [4 DR drills in a year] - DR drill report
- To be responsible for regular patching of all OS and also close all vulnerabilities based on reports published - Compliance posture, patching updates and vulnerability closure reports
- To be responsible for the timely evaluation and renewal of AMC for Server, Storages, Backup and core software like Oracle and Windows server - Renewal, uptime and timely support
