Gartner - Team Manager - Data Quality - Talent Neuron

About this role :

- Gartner TalentNeuron is currently seeking a Data Quality Manager to join its Data Science team in Bangalore, India. This is a stellar opportunity to get involved in a highly visible SaaS cloud data product in Gartner.

- TalentNeuron is part of the Big Data and advanced analytics revolution. It provides insight and analysis on the labor market based on analyzing a unique dataset of multibillion historical labor market records across 40 countries

- The candidate will need a strong knowledge of SaaS data product and data quality management concepts.

- The selected candidate will be responsible for managing a team of researchers and partnering with IT, Advisory and product to contribute to the data quality operations and management for TalentNeuron.

What you will do :

- Analyze the data quality for TalentNeuron platforms

- Enable scaled data quality operations to ensure data accuracy, credibility, completeness, precision and timeliness

- Develop, maintain, and own data quality process for working with data in both pre-production and production environments

- Ensure data quality and security measures are in place and followed

- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate quality control and testing activities for the team

- Creation and dissemination of weekly quality notes and team metrics

- Manage a feedback loop using stakeholder feedback, reported issues, and user questions to help drive data quality

- Review enhancements/additions to the data for accuracy and consistency

- Review Tools & Dashboards built by the Tech and Ops team for usability and accuracy

- Performs thorough review of all testing documentation.

- Supervise a team of researchers to deeply understand objectives, deliver high impact, and develop the skills and experiences they need to drive continued career growth

What you'll need:

- Master's degree with a significant expertise in data quality management, data analysis and quantitative research

- Minimum 7 years of professional experience Quality Analytics or related fields (e.g., consulting, operations, etc.)

- At least 3 years of managerial experience with direct supervision responsibilities

- Expert knowledge of data analytics techniques - specifically Excel, SQL

- Intermediate to advanced understanding of R or Python, for analytics and process automation

- Ability to derive insights from data and use data to inform decisions

- Experience working with large and distributed global teams in a cross functional environment

- Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Detail-oriented and commitment to high-quality results
