About this role

Working within the Data Science team, the Senior Quantitative analyst will lead development of statistical data and analysis delivered by the TalentNeuron (TN) business intelligence platform. TN is part of the Big Data and advanced analytics revolution and provides insight and analysis on labor market based on analyzing a unique dataset of multibillion historical labor market records across 20 countries. The candidate will need strong knowledge of statistics and economics with an emphasis in Data Analytics applied on Labor Market.

What you will do

- Develop and document data quality solutions and index maintenance processes including rebalancing, data publishing and calculation of indexes across different data assets;

- Analyze large data sets to identify actionable insights for model development; Efficiently work with large datasets and conceptualize analytical framework for quant projects

- Designing and evaluating statistical modeling experiments related to Labor Market;

- Understanding technical issues in statistical modeling and applying these skills toward solving business problems

- Independently identify issues in methods and frameworks and suggest solutions

- Optimize current models; Suggest alternate methods

- Ownership of multiple projects; Supervise analysts to implement models; Ensure data quality for analyst output

- Participate in the development of methodologies, tools and code used by the IT development team;

- Communicating and presenting analytical insights to team members through charts, tables and other data visualization;

What you will need:

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics or economics with 5-6 years of relevant industry experience, 3-5 years of experience with a Master's Degree;

- Experience in a quantitative field performing analytics

- Expertise in at least one of the following statistical analysis programs like R, Stata etc; Good knowledge of a querying language (e.g. SQL)

- Experience in managing a small team of 2-3 analysts

- Strong knowledge of advanced functions of Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, graphics, statistics- );

- Ability to lead projects, working with business owners of all levels

- Excellent oral and written communication skills;

- Detail-oriented and commitment to high quality results.
