What you'l do:

- Conduct wide-ranging secondary literature searches and synthesize information to elicit key insights for use in short white papers.

- Conduct interviews with senior executives, academics and industry experts in search of innovative ideas.

- Perform research by speaking with executives, vendors, and senior researchers. Evaluate, analyze, and structure the information for use in various research deliverables.

- Develop insights that are practical and actionable (not academic), grounded in IT executives workflows.

- Maintain a regular calendar of research deliverable - best practice case studies, white papers, quick response notes, issue briefs.

- Present research findings verbally and in writing to internal and external audiences. Explain complex ideas in terms busy executives can quickly absorb and apply.

- Closely collaborate with peers and senior stakeholders in India, US, Europe, and Australia as part of global research initiatives.

- Self-starter, capable of taking the initiative and managing own pieces of work.

- Strong ability and orientation towards meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects under time pressure.

- Good oral and written communication skills a must for this role

- Ability to manage the work of junior staff on project teams.

Who you are:

- Masters with 6+ years of research and/or management consulting experience.

- Possess a strong leadership mindset and experience of managing a team- good interpersonal skills and ability to coach team members

- Articulate and tactful communications skills with proven self-discipline and collaborative mindset - communicate well with team members and stakeholders

- Good knowledge across disciplines within the IT industry, vertical markets, major vendors, products or solutions

- Ability to manage and perform a very broad set of responsibilities, often with conflicting time demands Strategic business thinker who can come up with business insights that helps in scaling.
