About this role:

Global Sales Operations is a division within Gartner which encompasses Sales Technology, Sales Productivity, Territory Planning & Analytics, Sales Learning & Development, Operational Management, and Sales Communications & Proposals.

What you'll do:

- Senior specialists will be responsible to lead and manage projects related to secondary research. They will ensure that specialists in the team are able to help Gartner sales force find verified information about prospects

- Develop subject matter expertise related to processes, role types and tools used for prospecting

- Own reporting and dashboard creation for prospect research team as well as conduct regular analysis to identify gaps and make data-based decisions

- Work on prospecting and non-prospecting research projects such as prospect contact identification, company name identification, Organization firmographics,

- Independently manage stakeholder conversations with the global sales team members and senior stakeholders, including sales associates, sales managers, sales VPs and RVPs

- Provide day-to-day guidance to junior team members and problem solve before issues are escalated to team managers.

What you'll need:

- Bachelor's or master's degree with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in global organization

- Advanced MS Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

- Hands-on experience (at least 1 year) with external databases such as D&B Hoovers, Capital IQ, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom-info, Factiva, Ranking etc.

- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) are very critical. This role requires interaction with global team members

- Business acumen, analytical, logical thinking and high attention to details, presentation and organization

- Exposure to team mentoring and coaching would be preferred
