About this role:

- Develop and maintain Pricing analysis for various vendors in systems and storage sphere.

- Benchmark vendors against industry standards

- In-depth product assessment and create product profiles for various vendors

- Discounted/ Street pricing analysis of the technology products

- Manage Gartners extensive database of Products of OEMs. Collect, verify and analyze data on product specifications, pricing, performance and functional capabilities

- Assist with other ongoing data and research projects/programs, as needed Build and maintain relationships with Stake holders and partners.

- Proactively suggest and undertake improvements in the accuracy and efficiency of reporting. work as part of a team and be responsible for an assigned portfolio of vendors and will be expected to provide customer support for his/her area of responsibility

- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate repeatable work and make self-service capabilities to improve productivity for the team

- Deliver projects on time and maintain high quality standards of the deliverables

- Develop strong understanding of the IT industry in general and expertise in specific domains as required

What you'll do :

- High degree of technical competency skill with advanced Excel, VBA macro, I-macro required. Understanding of (or ability to acquire understanding of) other data management toolsets and data scraping tools is required

- Interact with the analysts and the project manager on a regular basis to keep updated on the progress and raise flag whenever required; the communication should be crisp and clear

- Provide constructive feedback to peers as well as be receptive to feedback from peers

- Follow internal processes and policies, including, HR, IT and Finance

- Actively participate in formal and in-formal knowledge sharing sessions, including Research Communities

- Demonstrate complete ownership of the tasks/projects assigned

- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all deliverables

What you ll need:

- BE/B.Tech from Grade A engineering colleges (specialization in CS, Telecom or electronics will be useful)

- Graduate + MBA (Marketing or Ops) from leading A & B-schools

- 4-5 years minimum experience in IT industry for MBAs; 6-7 years experience for BE/B.Tech.

- Strong understanding of the IT industry

- Strong Excel skills - ability to design, develop and maintain large Excel models for forecasting

- Strong project management skills: Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and keep projects on schedule by ensuring participation of various Insights analysts

- Experience in an extremely fast paced work environment preferably in data research, consulting or marketing/strategy

- Eagerness to Learn: Showing strong awareness of the major issues across the IT industry and eagerness to learn more

- Strong communication skillsoral & written: Should structure all communication for meaning and flow with strong command on English language.

- Problem Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to think independently. Should be able to work on estimation problems and provide insightful and original analysis.

- Interpersonal skills: Ability to develop relationships with other analysts, clients and prospects

Who you are:

- Proficient understanding of Information Technology with the ability to stay current on new industry development.

- Project management experience

- Have significant understanding of Servers, IT services, networking hardware or telecom industry.

- Engineering background in electronics and telecom or will be useful.

- Market research/consultancy experience: more than 5 years relevant work experience in a data analysis and market analysis, consultancy.

- Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools
