Senior Digital Marketing Manager

About this role:


- We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead a team of individuals in the development, deployment, and optimization of our marketing automation campaigns. This position will lead the team of resources and must facilitate a productive and collaborative team culture to ensure effective and efficient e-mail operations.


- This role will be responsible for the overall execution of Gartner's digital marketing programs used to increase user engagement and revenue across our products & services. The manager will be responsible for advising on the marketing process and strategy in collaboration with other channel owners, guiding the development of Production Team and oversee the execution of campaigns within our marketing automation platforms.


- Specific duties include but are not limited to email campaign development and deployment using Eloqua 10, reporting and analysis, aiding in the development and implementation of the collective MAP operating model, and optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our team in Gurgaon. This position will have the opportunity to develop business skills and acquire a broad understanding of Gartner.


What you'll do:


- Manage a team in the development and deployment of email communications to positively impact our digital marketing KPIs


- Management of Gartner's marketing email campaigns (single sends, drips, and nurtures), Executing on the marketing automation operating model, manage, optimize, and report on process and team capacity.


- Analysis of current email marketing processes and identify areas for testing and improvement


- Managing trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximize engagement and conversions and


- Carrying out segmentation of the database and implementing remarketing strategies


- Implementation of A/B testing as well as reporting and analysis


- MVT Testing within email marketing efforts, track all KPIs and provide weekly reports to Marketing Director


- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities; Recommend enhancements and oversee execution of approved process improvements


- Produce continuous documentation and deliver end-user training for Digital Marketing platforms, systems, and processes


- Contribute to the design, implementation, development, and utilization of MarTech tools related to Production or Project Management process.


- Host and facilitate regular meetings to ensure entire team is in sync and moving forward together


- Own quality control and efficiency for all campaign execution


- Perform audience segmentation per direction of corporate marketing strategy & operations; use data to advise marketing managers on how best to drive business results and maximize conversion


- Develop segmentation targeting and testing processes to go deeper into current database to achieve better audience segmentation and targeting


- Follow established privacy laws (e.g., CASL, GDPR) when building segments


- Monitor and track efficacy of all campaign efforts and channel attribution, analyzing data and determining patterns and trends through available tools (Eloqua/SQL/Power BI)


- Manage the process to reactivate lapsed / dormant subscribers and update audience information


What you'll need:


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing/communications, or other related field


- Should have 6+ years commercial experience with segmentation, audience acquisition, email marketing, marketing automation, campaign analysis, and databases


- Must have demonstrated strong collaboration skills, ability to work with others at different levels in the organization


- Must have experience with a marketing automation platform such as Eloqua (preferred), Marketo, Pardot, or Hubspot

Confident in manipulating data in SQL (i.e. joins, nested queries and aggregating data) and PowerBI (or similar) report

building, data modelling and creating measures and calculated columns


- Must be able to highlight patterns in data - structured and unstructured
