About this role:

The FLORS Practice aims to hire a Quantitative Senior Associate and is currently accepting applications. You will be part of the FLORS Quantitative team addressing cutting-edge strategic issues facing today's senior-most Finance executives at leading, global corporations.

The position is for individuals interested in conducting data-driven research and analysis- the foundation for any data science, strategic planning or research-oriented career. Analysts enjoy exposure to the full array of strategic data work: data management and processes; reporting and survey analyses; benchmarking and norming surveys; quantitative modeling; proprietary research; and increased use of big data tools and techniques focused on peeling apart ideas in search of data-based insight.

What you will do:

You will help develop Gartner's Finance related content, including development of best practices and data based products and insights. The content you create will be aimed at serving the needs of CFO's and their teams operating globally. The role will involve quantitative research and developing insights and approaches to address key issues facing CFO's.

- Assist with large-scale data collection efforts through administration of multi-national panel or member facing surveys targeted to CFOs, their teams, or their business partners

- Build standardized data reports for members with simple and insightful graphics that help them understand internal gaps as well as allow them to benchmark themselves against their peers

- Communicate and present analytical insights to internal stakeholders that include senior practice leaders, subject matter experts and advisors

- Contribute to whitepapers and other Gartner-style end products to highlight some of the most interesting insights based on quantitative and qualitative research.

What you- ll need:

- 1 to 2 years- experience at a leading research or consulting firm or as a practitioner who has played significant role in Information technology

- Graduate Degree from a recognized premier Institute in disciplines with a strong analytics component, including Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Econometrics, Applied Microeconomics

- Experience in conducting research, managing or partnering on benchmarking surveys and conducting survey analysis is good to have

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point

- Creating automation for redundant processes, using R, VBA or any other technology.

- Ability to distill quantitative and qualitative data into important, relevant ''so what's'' for a CFO-level audience

- Self-starter, capable of taking the initiative and managing own pieces of work

- Should have experience leading short term and long term projects and ability to manage the work of junior staff on project teams

- Strong ability and orientation towards meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects under time pressure

- Excellent project management, problem-solving, communication, attention to detail and analytical skills required.

- Original and creative thinking and superior problem-solving abilities
