Gartner is looking for an energetic, dynamic and tenured professional who has a proven track record of setting up new teams, and successfully running them. The individual should have eagerness to learn about new technologies and has a proven track record in people management, project and operations management.

You would be part of Branded Research CoE in Content Production team based out of Gurgaon. As a Manager, you would be expected to manage a team of Individual Contributors aligned with different Research Practices enabling them to deliver must have research and manage stakeholders. Responsible for support across multiple processes and projects to process Branded documents and its constituencies. Provide immediate support and collaborate with stakeholders and teams to optimize project management, ensuring quality delivery of branded research documents (MQ, MG, CC) within scheduled timelines by demonstrating great learning attitude and problem-solving skills

Job description :

- Lead a team of specialist and effectively manage multiple projects and engagement.

- Recruit, onboard new staff and building internal knowledge base

- Define and communicate goals and objectives in alignment with the global Research & Advisory team

- Ensure quality and timeliness objectives are achieved as part of the global Research content development workflow

- Monitor standard metrics to optimize capacity and tier responsibilities

- Balance workload and handle requests for operation support assistance on special projects

- Partner with Coordinators/ Project Managers, Research and Advisory Strategy team & Operations team, Research and

Advisory analysts and other BUs to ensure effective implementation of process and strategy.

- Embrace a growth mindset and continuously look for ways to improve scalability and efficiency through focus and innovation

- Motivate, coach, facilitate, solve work problems, address people-related issues, and be actively involved in the day-to-day activities of the team

- Create an environment oriented to teamwork, collaboration, open communication, creative thinking, cohesive team effort, and workplace integrity

- Identify training needs and organize training sessions with global workforce development/ team and relevant Research and Advisory Strategy team & Operations teams.

- Develop strong business acumen within the team and ensure team members understand their impact to the business

- Work with functional managers and operation managers to obtain necessary resources and support for the team

- Track and report on team productivity/efficiency, resource utilization, and capacity (addressing any roadblocks)

- Oversee the successful implementation of global research policies or processes.

Essential must-have skills :

- Bachelors/Post Graduation (MBA) in any specialization

- 7 - 10 years of experience in the research / content industry, minimum 3+ years of team management experience in a content production / project management / center of excellence or similar environment as part of a global corporation

- Experience in managing/working in a global team

- Exposure to recruitment related activities

- Strong people and stakeholder management skill

- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills and project management background will be essential

- Real-life experience in driving to consensus, moving forward, and getting things done amongst large, global, and diverse groups of constituents

- Extensive experience in strategic, managerial, and mentoring roles - Articulate and tactful communications skills with proven self-discipline and collaborative mindset - communicate well with team members and stakeholders

- Demonstrated ability to manage projects in parallel and to meet deadlines under pressure

- Proven ability to solve problems and bring timely resolution to on-going issues

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
